Ross the Boss

Stoked on this Triple header clip from Kingpin filmed by my old mate Kevin Parrot and featuring 3 of my favourite skaters right now.  Always good to see these guys in action!

Rohum wrote up this article kind of a 'best of' Adidas skateboarding for the blog, some good clips in there that I'd almost completely forgotten about.

New boards in this week from the ever almighty Anti Hero including the sick Jeff Grosso 'fat pigeon' pro model in 2 shapes. Also some more sick re-issues in from Santa Cruz too - Jessee, Grosso and Street Creep

We've got a load of mini events coming up over the winter, we've run a couple of these 'Battle of the Surgery' games of SKATE so far and the turnout is always rad, next one is scheduled for November 13th.

Treated myself to some new shoes the other day, Vans Era pro in Black/Gum and the Julien Stranger Anti Hero Authentic Pro.  Also went in on a new Patagonia Baggies jacket too, a very wise purchase indeed.

Got this new Gonz deck in the other day which is my favourite graphic for a few weeks!

A few new bits up on the blog today.

New boards in from Anti Hero and Real too.

Monday, not a bad one.

So today was fairly trouble free at the shop, mainly because I had a half day.

Deliveries in from Adidas and DC though.

And we added some more photos to the Dave Allen interview.

Decided to 'come out' and post my favourite 5 brands we stock and they are:

Skateboard Cafe - The main thing I like about this brand is the really tight art direction, they've got a unique style and image which is hard to achieve.

Skeleton Key - This one makes the list because it's more like a 'crew' than a brand and things like this keep skateboarding fun and are a counter measure to the big brands taking over skateboarding these days.

Loser Machine - I like this stuff because it's not just a skate brand, it's really retro and largely influenced by motorbike culture. The quality is sick, hoodies are really thick, and i like the name!

Poler Stuff  - An outdoor brand but cool!  Out of Portland USA they have a rad range of practical outdoor multi purpose gear that looks rad and does the job.

Patagonia - Can't say enough good things about this brand. The quality is incredible and everything they make is super practical and stylish.  The whole brand ethos and everything they're about should be an inspiration for brands everywhere.
